The Super Swingers

Marq was the master of the swing at Grandma's house today. Caroline was the director. They both entertained the little ones in the backyard this morning. We are planning to dare a trip to the local swim park later after lunch. Of course we will take a run to the mall to grab a couple of swimsuits for myself and Sal. It has been a good week having Sal here with the kids. Marq and Liam have had a lot of time to spend with their cousins. Lots of pics to come for sure. Lots of scrapbook pages too.

Branson Weekend

We went to Celebration City in Branson last weekend. It was fun and of course before heading over there we had to stop over at Build A Bear. Ben built "RockStar" the 4th of July bear. Marq and Ben rode several rides during the day at CC. I hung out with Liam while they were in line. My back was killing me and I hated the thought of cancelling our plans to Branson, so I just hung out with Liam. We entertained ourselves while the other 2 rode the attractions. It was a lot of fun. Since the summer is almost over I was hoping we would get to do something fun outside the house just at least once. Marq and Ben got wet... just a little. They have that little fountain area like Downtown Disney. Marq had to make a go at it right before we left... so his shirt was wet the ride home. They also drove the go-carts. That was the longest line we saw that day but it was worth the wait. With Ben at the driver's seat, he drove like a crazy person and over ran even some of the single racers. Marq was his sidekick for most of the evening. Liam talked to every little girl that walked by his stroller. Funny thing was that more than half of them actually stopped to talk back. It was really cute. I kept thinking to myself... wow you understand "Liam-nese" One girl even tried giving him her lollipop. ... Just like daddy, such a flirt.

The reason my husband started collecting Hot Wheels....

We went to Wal-Mart before heading out for our trip to Branson for snacks and juice but guess what was outside.... Ben told me we had to take pics. When he was younger he use to collect the Wiener-mobile every year for his Hot Wheels collection. Marq is now collecting them and has a pretty large collection. The hot dog pics were pretty funny...
