Kuya's Backpack

Badong use to wear this backpack when he was little. He used it till he was about 5 years old. I kept it for keepsake reasons and found it the other day. Liam was asking to use one of our larger bags and I handed him this bag. He was so cute. He would not let us take it off for anything today. He made us put it back on if he did have to take it off in the car or elsewhere. It was great to see him like the bag as much as his brother did. It brought a smile to my face as well as memories of Marq when he was little.

Tanker Boots

Liam loves to put his own shoes on now. And he also loves to wear daddy's shoes. I got these shots of him trying on Ben's old tanker boots.

Do Not Try This At Home

Liam and Marq was goofing off last weekend. As usual Liam wanted to be spun around. It was actually quite funny since he was going till he was asking to be "All done." Then once he was let down he wanted back up again. He was so dizzy, he finally got to he point he could not walk anymore. These 2 are a funny pair. They played all day. The living room and Liam's room was a hug mess by the time Ben got home form work.

Digitreats

Check out the link above. These are great add ons for any page. It is from the Digitreats site as her January Freebie.

Bathtime Games

Ben bought Liam this Little Einsteins game for the bath from Target. Liam creates his own little games with the set. As you can see, he has quite a bit of toys to play with during bathtime. He likes to line up the colors and splash them down as he tells you the colors. Majority of the time he will say the right colors. When you correct him if he is mistaken, he'll laugh at you. Makes you wonder if he is actually testing you if you know your colors. There is a ring toss with the balls too. He'll pretty much throw everything though those.

When I grow up, I want to be like Kuya.

Marq brought his saxophone home for practice, and of course, Liam is his biggest fan. After bath time, Liam wanted to try out Marq's sax. Kuya was nice enough to show him the ropes. Marq even took it upon himself to dance along with Liam's playing. Check out the Handy Manny PJ's on Liam.

Gotta love those green eyes!

Boogie down Kuya!

Liam's Christmas Projects

Liam's school just gave me his projects from the holiday. They actually had them do the glue on the candy cane and paint the "snowman." It was very cute. I love that they do crafts with the kids all the time. I am very blessed with such a great daycare. He is adored by everyone there. He must of inherited his father's flirtatious nature...

Liam in Surround Sound

We have been listening to Liam and his sing-songs a lot lately. With the baby monitors both on upstairs and downstairs, you can hear him singing in "Surround sound." His hit tunes include Baby Bumble Bee, Patty Cake, ABC's and Itsy Bitsy. It is actually quite funny since he does it out of the blue. One moment you hear nothing during nap time, then you hear him singing. Sometimes he will sit there and start singing during dinner time too. We get a kick out of it. Of course, now it is a family thing and we join in once he starts up. Even Kuya Marq joins in and does the hand movements with him. It is amazing how not too long ago he was a little baby. I even recall Badong doing some of those same things too. As much as it seems like they are opposites, they are also quite alike.

Another Nice Day

So far, for it being January, the days have been in the 60's or higher. Considering last year this time, we were in an ice storm and had no power. During our errands, we took a break at the park. The Park was packed full of kids. Kuya Marq and Liam had their full of the swings and running around the play area. We had a picnic lunch too. We keep crossing our fingers that we will keep getting these nice days. The nights are still freezing cold but at least the days are nice enough for the kids to enjoy them.

Potty Training

This past week Liam has successfully gone to "the potty" 5 times at home. He would tell us and we would take him to his little potty. He would do his thing and say " All done!" He was so proud of himself. The daycare started to help out with training too when we told them he was actually asking to go at home. So far it looks like potty training this one will be a lot easier. I guess having so many boys at home helps out...lol! I'll have to start buying those Pull Ups sooner than I thought.

The Riot

Marq is growing up too fast. He went to a Lock In on New Years Eve. It was held at the Bridge. He stayed up all night 8pm till 6am. We got him a VIP pass so he was able to hang out early and do everything that was available. There were bands, Halo competitions, Dodge ball and Basket Ball tournaments, a dance and then some. Mr. Socialite met new friends from other schools and said he had lots of fun.
