Duquesne Car Show 2009

This past weekend was the Duqesene Car Show. We barely survived the heat. It was still 99 degrees at 7pm. Regretfully, we did not last that long. We did get to see a few great cars. The green car below belongs to a co-worker of mine. He owns a couple of show cars. Of course, Ben wanted a photo with the Shelby. There were a mostly classics hot rods. It was fun but hot. It was too hot for the kids to even use the bounce house. The House of Bounce even gave out free passes to go to their actual building at a later time.
Two of a Kind
This one is actually about Ben and I. I have been cleaning house and either packing stuff up or sorting things for resale shops, donate, or yard sale. The one thing Ben and I have not put away is our Starbucks City mugs. When we got back together (again) We both had our own collection of City Mugs. Between the two of us we had a small collection but it was kind of funny that neither of us mentioned our love for over sized mugs (and steins), esp Starbucks. When the combining of the 2 households began, the displaying began. We have steins Ben had from Germany. Oddly enough, I was the one with the Star Wars Stein. And the City Mugs are sitting in the upstairs foyer. Dallas, Venice, NY, Berlin to name a few. So anyone who needs a gift idea... Starbucks City Mugs...hint hint, lol.

I hope that works...
Ben is posting his videos from his Blackberry of the kids on YouTube. They were filling up his phone so he emptied them into the computer and put them on that site so his family and friends could take a look at them. Nothing spectacular but Liam loves to watch them on the phone while we run errands.
